If you haven’t heard about Dr. Grizelle Figueredo MD, Anti-Aging Functional Physician yet, she has started an anti-aging/hormone replacement practice right here in our lab.  It is called Optimus Health. She will be working with patients in this area to optimize their health.  Here is some information about Dr. Figueredo:
Dr. Figueredo was born in Caracas, Venezuela, received her Medical degree from Central University of Venezuela in 1988. She served her internship and residency in Family Medicine at University of Tennessee, Memphis, in 1999. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1999, and received her certification in Age Management Medicine from Cenegenics Institute in 2013.
She is currently enrolled in the fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Anti-Aging Medicine is a clinical/medical specialty and field of scientific research aimed at the early detection, prevention, treatment, and reversal of age-related decline.
Dr. Figueredo practices what she preaches, and having observed the difference it has made for her, she continues to invest many hours learning about prevention and applying it to her life. Dr. Figueredo’s personal, individualized healthy aging program consists of the synergy produced by a low glycemic, anti-inflammatory nutritional approach. In her case, this means nutrient-dense calorie restriction, optimal exercise, and appropriate hormone modulation.
